The scale model rocketeer's Bible, April 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Rockets of the world (Hardcover)
Absolutely the best resource for scale model rocket building I've seen. Very little measuring to do, and then only when the data wasn't available to begin with. Now out of print, I'm guessing that very few will find their way into the used book market. I suggest contacting Saturn Press. With enough customer interest they MIGHT publish a 3rd edition!

This book is a unique reference on the history of rocketry., June 6, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Rockets of the world (Hardcover)
Though the book is written for people who wish to build scale models of space boosters and sounding rockets, this book is an excellent reference for anyone who has a interest in the history of rocketry. Through photographs, drawings, and historical anecdotes, Peter Alway details many rockets that were used for scientific research and space exploration. If you ever wondered about the vehicles that propelled us into and through the space age, this book is for you.
