this my 4th set of rockford fosgate subwoofers(they always get stolen)these are wicked good subwoofers, at an entry level subwoofer price!!!

Good speaker for the price! Sounds great and can be used in a small enclosure. Perfect for people looking to keep their trunk space.

ok heres the rundown. this is my first subwoofer. i only have 1. the rms is 150 and the peak is 300. though i have a boss audio chaos extreme amp 100 rms at 4 ohms powering it. in my standard cab chevy pickup i have a pioneer deck hooked to 2 pioneer 6 1/2s and 2 of my stock 4x6s. (including the sub). if you ask me the sound is perfect it cant get any better.(thats the sound and bass combination). but the bass isint spectacular. it hits you can feel it and you can certianly hear it. but it dosent hit rele hard or anything more like real easy. if you want to your bass to hit hard go for a twelve. i understand i dont have many watts running to the amp thats beacuse if you look the sub up on rockfors website it tells you best sound is bewteen 45-100 rms. basicly if you ask me its not the hardest hittin but its the best soundin. the only thing i want to say is if you had two that would really be perfect sound, with some bass that hits too.

Great speaker! Sounds clean and has a lot of power and punch to them. They look pretty awesome to. I would recomend them to friends.

i only have one and it makes the back window flex not shake flex buy this in a sealed box and pack it with polyfil you will need a descent amp but i reccomend it to anybody.

Wow, not sure if the technology in subwoofers have improved quite a bit or what, but after upgrading my old subs from 3-4 years ago, i'm very impressed that these subs are only 150Watt. They are a great value as long as I'm not trying to blow my ears while driving. I would definately buy again if these last at least a few years.

I wasn't sure how good this smaller sub would sound, but I was surprised. It hits hard and sounds great!

I got a great deal on this subwoofer. i used this to replace a 10 year old jensen sub in my dodge durango. I was blown away by the difference. The jensen sounded good, untill I put this Rockford in. I just have one, in a sealed box, in the back of a durango, and it still hits hard as a rock. The bass is tight, clear, and zero distortion. For reference, im powering it with a small kenwood amp (kac5204) it rates at the same watts as this sub, and its the perfect combo. If u want a reliable tight sounding sub, this is the one.
UPDATE:: WOW, i got this sub for 32 dollars, now its 99? go to crutchfield its only 79 there.

Hooked up a kenwood DAC 9104d to them, wired it at 4 ohms and powered the amp down to try and keep them under 175. Figured they would handle what I consider minimal bass output for a decent sub. I was wrong. They lasted for exactly 3 minutes. They both went out quick, I thought my amp went into protection so I stopped at a gas station, amp was on and functioning. I come home and hook up an old 12, it thumps. Hook them back up, one is producing zero sound and the other one is producing an extremely low faint of sound. It's blown. Figured when one failed the power to the other probably shot up killing it completely in a fraction of a second. These subs suck. I was running at lowest power possible unless I went to 8 ohms which I considered. Last time I pay 30 dollars for a sub.
