This product gives you the ability to adjust the amount of bass your amp is pushing. Why would you buy it?

Great control for your bass output. Especially when listening to older music where the bass output is lacking. Works great!!

I've had mine over a year now, and its doing exactly what it should......adjusting the bass in my hatch without me using a flashlight and screwdriver!!!
It is not a volume control unfortunatly, but the large bump in bass it ceates does the trick for me.
And the conectors are not ALL that fragile, mine hasent failed, even with the module not atached permenantly.

deff worth buying.increases a good amoun t of bass great item to have.i have on e of these on my 1500 rock fosgate amp myself

Bought this Rockford Fosgate Bass Knob and I receive it in the mail and it doesn't work. The product is still in it's packaging and I plug it in and it doesn't work. I do have great previous experience with them, but that just made me upset. Great product just made a little on the cheap side.

I am unsure if it was the part's fault or my amp's, but this had no affect whatsoever on my subwoofer's overall sound.

NOt too crazy about this product! Very limited balance in controling freq and gain. Not very much of a difference with additional remote then without! For the amount of money paid for my Rockford fosgate amp and then to purchase an additional gain control isnt worth what other products are out there. I was much happier with range that my Kicker amp gives verses what Rockford fosgate amp does.

A must when you buy a RF sub AMP. simple and does its job. While installing make sure the gain in the amp is adjusted correctly with this remove set to mid value. That way you can either increase or decrease the bass boost at 45Hz.

the phone-like connectors are not staying solidly connected causing me to to have to twiddle the cord around to get the blue power light to come on confirming i have power to control the proper adjustments
