The PRIME series Component System kits are a new generation of factory replacement speaker delivering authentic Rockford Fosgate sound. The R152-S is a dedicated 2-way component system utilizing a Mica injected polypropylene cone for extended frequency response and accommodates direct OEM installation. The tweeter features a Mylar balanced dome to reproduce crystal clear highs, an in-line crossover for simplifying installation, and accommodates flush, surface and angle mounting.

I bought these because they fit, and promised decent sound. Both were true. My location in my mazda minivan in the rear had a 6x9 but the mounting depth was so shallow, no others would fit. My 5.25s came with a mounting template that I drilled a hole in for the tweeters and put the whole unit in, fits well and sounds good. I recommend these little dynamo speakers. Please note that the low bass is soft, everything below a bass drum rolls off. FYI.

Bought these to upgrade a 4 inch speaker in my VW Vanagon. They are located in the upper cabinet in the rear of the Vanagon. The car needed a bit of modification to accept the speaker size, but worth it. A second set of these were installed in the front doors, at the bottom.

Powered by an Alpine Head unit and Alpine 4 channel amps, the sound is decent for an inexpensive speaker.

i put these speakers in my ford ranger using adapter plates. the tweeters are loud and so are the midbass drivers. they put the 6x8 pioneer 3-ways i had down with ease and theyre much smaller! thinking about another set!
