Dont mess with the Pyle and Boss crap,,Just get these for your slightly larger than 6 1/2" hole and pop 4 in your doors you can add a sub but really dont need one with these Nice Fosgates , Totally tight speakers and very happy with them have them in my Grand Cherokee and my Subaru Legacy,,great price,,fairly easy install(but im experienced)they dont quite fit the 6.5" hole have to drill new holes wich is not a problem for most However these will not drop right into a 6.5 hole so be prepared for that issue but once you get em in they sound very very awesome NICE,,5 stars,,Buy These!

I picked these up to replace the stock speakers in a 2006 Toyota Matrix. I would have given these 5 stars, but they were a pain to install. they are a little larger than a standard 6.5in speaker, so i had to get a little creative with the installation. Other than that, these are great speakers. Plan on spending some time adjusting on your head unit. Like it was said in other reviews, the tweeters are loud!

Installed them in all 4 doors of my 2007 GMC Sierra crew cab. They do not seem to produce quite as much bass as the factory speakers did, but the mids and highs are excellent. I am not saying no bass at all, just not as much as I had. But 6.5 inch speakers should not be your source for bass anyways. I bought them for the mids and highs, as I have a 12" sub under the rear seat. So for what I bought them for, and for the price I paid, I could not be happier!!!

These speakers sound great high and low.The highs are nice and clear with no distortion. These speakers put out surprising good bass too with no distortion. Ofcourse power coming from an Alpine deck make these babies bloom.

I searched forever trying to find the next door speakers for my car, and these sound amazing. BUT, they are NOT 6.5. the speaker is 6.5 and the trim is an extra .25-.5 inch too! I went to install them, and NOPE, didn't fit in the socket. Listen to this!! because i didn't. take your speakers off and make sure they have a .5 inch clearance all around!

Anyone with a Honda civic 97 ex don't buy!

These are actually 7in but they fit in my Del Sol front and back. I had to mount these to the door panel not the speaker basket. They would have fit the basket if I took the door panel off to mount which in most cases you would do. They wouldn't fit through the door cut out because they were slightly larger than the 6.5in. This way I have them mounted with the speaker covers that they came with but using my own mounting hardware.

As for sound; holy crap, these are amazing, tight, crisp, and powerful. Best Buy these were $109.

They easily compete with the best.

After installing a Pioneer DEH-6200bt in my 06 PT Crusier the OEM speakers did not sound good, so I replaced the front speakers with a pair of these. They fit perfect in the hole, but I did have to re drill new mounting holes. The factory setup only had a three screw mounting system and these have four. I liked them so much i had to order a second pair for the rear doors. The mids and highs are not too over powering and the bass is better than I had expected. Fast shipping as well.

Bought these speakers based on reviews of others, and I have to say, they sound terrific! Installed them in my 03 Tahoe, which is equipped with the Bose system, and they make it sound even better than it did. There is a lot to be gained replacing factory speakers, I know, but I was surprised at the difference. Wired right up to the existing wiring and was done. The whole install took less than two hours.

If you are hesitating, dont. These are well worth it.

These speaker are just GREAT, if you don't have much room for the big stuff.

The sound outta these are AWESOME, I could be happier about them. You can hear the highs and the lows clearly in these 6 and half speakers.

I put these speaker in a 04 Dodge Ram in the rear doors. They just fit in the speaker hole but poke out just a bit and had to do a little modification on the screws but nothing too hard to do. The door panel covers everything once you have it in place.

I had sum little 4"inch Eclipse speaker for about 2 years that I had installed before. But they couldn't be turned up so loud and if they were, they would start crackeling. So I check these Fosgates out and was just blown away by their sound!!! Wished I knew about these along time ago.

ALL AROUND, JUST EXECELLENT!!

Based on the reviews I read, I ordered these speakers to replace the front speakers of my 2001 Chevy Suburban LT, which comes equipped with a premium sound system installed from factory. Let me first say that the complaints about the size being a little biger than the 6.5 inch advertized is true. However, once I removed the old speakers, instead of reusing the plastic speaker holder that comes with the old speakers, I simply drilled four holes on the door; by holding the speaker onto the door, I marked the location of the new holes with a marker, I then used a small punch to start mark the location of the new holes and then drilled the holes with much ease. Once installed, I was extremelly happy with the improvement in the highs, mid and the base of the new speakers. They are much superior in sound quality than the originals. I can compare the diferrence between the rear doors and the front door speakers and there is a marked difference. I will order another pair to install in the rear doors as well.

This is a greate value purchase and can assure you to be very satisfied.
