These are very good speakers with excellent low frequency. They sound like you have a sub in your car even with a low powered factory head unit. Compared to 6 other pairs of popular speakers in this price range, these have the best lows possible. Mids and highs are not the best I have heard, but more than adequate for a car and overall light years better than factory speakers. A movable tweeter would have been nice. I like the black color, helps keep factory appearance since speaker is hardly visible trough grill.

I used the T1682 speakers as direct replacement speakers for the 4 factory speakers in my 2000 F250 and the sound quality is amazing. These speakers bring all new life to the once dead sound system in my factory stereo. After a week, I added in an amplifier pushing up to a consistant 100W per speaker and bring even more sound quality with zero interuption in performance.

As these were direct factory replacements, the process was simple and no cutting or modifications were required.

I would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their 6x8 speaker system, but also recommend an amp to push these to their potential.
