This review is from: Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree (MP3 Download)
My grand daughter was in a Christmas play and needed to learn the words to this song, so I downloaded this version to her MP3 player. We had a great time singing this and learning all the words to it.

Brenda Mae Tarpley (born December 11, 1944), known as Brenda Lee, is an American performer who sang rockabilly, pop and country music, and had 37 US chart hits during the 1960s, a number surpassed only by Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Ray Charles and Connie Francis. She is best known for her 1960 hit "I'm Sorry," and 1958's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," a US holiday standard for more than 50 years.

In 2002, I was fortunate enough to meet Brenda Lee at a corporate event held in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. We're almost exactly the same age, and I and a couple of other old-timers who grew up with Brenda's music chatted with her for almost a half hour. Most of the younger folks weren't familiar with her or her music, which I thought was sad, since they didn't know what they were missing.

Sorry, I'm wandering. "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" was a huge hit in the 1950s-1960s, and it's still as good as ever. A lot of other artists have done the song, but no one has ever surpassed Brenda Lee's version. It's a classic.
