This set is a good combination of live cuts and rare studio tracks. Good representation of the classic Mayall lineup of Sugarcane Harris, Harvey Mandel, Larry Taylor, Paul Lagos, and Mayall.

Note: this set has considerable overlap with the Rock the Blues Tonight set. Not just the same tunes - the exact same recordings. But the presence of the rare tracks makes this worth having.
