Hard to belive it,the Collins kids are probably grandparents today!Yet thier music still sounds young and fresh as it did back in the 50's.This is a great collection of thier tunes.Hard to believe Larry was only 13 when he recorded "Whistlebait"!Dang if he don't shut down a lotta today's "Rock" posers!You must get this record if you have any love of real rock'n roll!

Tired of dreary rock lyrics and synthesized music that assaults your ears? This CD will take you back to when rock was young and fun. Every one of the 22 songs is upbeat and full of excitment and discovery. The sound qaulity is exceptional and the performers are amazing (Lorrie and Larry Collins were 13 and 11 respectively when they started recording. This is a feel-good collection you'll want to play over and over.

A good CD, that really showcases those rockin' rollin' rock-a-billy Collin's Kids. Some great songs with lots of energy.

Yes,city slickers will die of embarassment when you play this disc. The Collins Kids could deliver high energy Hillbilly rock with the best of 'em. This review is for the single disc , 22 track edition.

Great Cd, great songs. It's a must have. Just don't be decieved by the amazon listing... this is 22 tracks.

When it comes to rock'n'roll children, this is it. Albeit, some of the songs are more country, but most are rockabilly. The guitar work is great, and their voices are adorable. This combination clicks. Hop,skip, and jump to this music! A must for rockabilly AND country fanatics.

These kids rock, stomp and swing. This is HIGH ENERGY rockabilly at it's best. Both in thier teens this Brother/Sister act is incredible. Older sister Collins takes a lot of the vocals with sensuality with a hard rockin' edge, while lil' Brother takes some hot guitar breaks. They both sing, and harmonize AWESOMELY!!! I haven't heard such good and tight harmonizing since the Boswell Sisters, 30 years earlier. This music falls between the lines of ROCKABILLy, with touches of western swing, hillbilly boogie and Jumpin' Jive. Great stuff, especailly for swing dancing jitterbug style. HOT ESSENTIAL Rockabilly, there isn't a bad cut on this cd! If you can't afford the close to $100.00 box set, start here.
