This is one of the most expensive pieces of plastic ever. Second to only small pieces of my Honda. However, the kid loves the rocking motion. Recommended for kids 1-2 yrs. At that age, the jumping aspect is a bit hard, so the rocker makes it more accessible. See if you can get a used one so it's cheaper. It's one piece, so there is really no chance of this thing breaking.

This product works just fine, but came oddly packaged....well not really packaged at all. It came in just a regular Amazon box, not shrink-wrapped, no product labels, no instructions. You'd never know what it was if you hadn't ordered it yourself. So, I'll tell you what I learned the hard way...insert the Rody feet in the base BEFORE you inflate the Rody.

I purchased this for my one year old, on her Birthday. The horse "Rody" fits perfectly into it. Now she can play on it, and I don't have to worry about her tipping over. She loves it.

If you have a Rody and a younger child, I recommend getting the base. We got them both for our 3 year old. It adds more fun to what the Rody already provides. The base seems very sturdy- practically indestructible. If your child is having trouble with tipping over on just the Rody, the base will help. My 1 year old is able to enjoy bouncing & rocking on the Rody while on the base with very little help. One thing to note, it's a little noisy on hard wood floors when they are bouncing. You also have to inflate the Rody after putting it into the base. (We were able to get it out without letting air out.)

LOVE it! Have a special needs daughter (21 months) and a 3 1/2 year old - both LOVE the horse and rocking base. I am also a Physical Therapist and we use "peanuts" just like the base of the horse - so developmentally this is a great toy for balance, core stabilization, ect. The rocking bottom is a must for initial stages. Seller was great - timely and packaged very nice.

This was purchased for a toddling 1 yr old and he loves to rock on the horse, the base makes it more sturdy for him. His 3 yr old sister loves her horse without the base. Highly recommend this for "true" toddlers who are not as sure on their feet to really rock with the Rody horse. My grandkids love these and it gives them great exercise in the house.
Even their older cousins love to ride these and don't have to be told they are too big.

This was just as promised. It came when it was supposed to. The packaging was good, and it was as advertised.

I bought this Rody for my son who will be 1. His 3 yr old brother loves it also but not sure how long he will really fit on the rody. The rocking base works great for my 1 year old who it learning to walk and ride. I think that is the best time to buy this toy and with the base you can use it for much longer. Worked just like I expected for my little guy no need for this with older kids.

it's a little pricey but my son has used it a lot. i didn't think it gave much of a rock but after my son started developing more coordination and balance i realized it works pretty well. made out of sturdy plastic. it has some gripping things on the bottom to help it from sliding around on bare floors. it's also really easy to blow up the rody into the rocker base.
