More About the Author

As a female breadwinner, I wanted to share my mistakes as well as the lessons from the women I have met. I am so passionate about helping women to live their best life and believe that women transform the world and have the power to change the way we are perceived as breadwinners and the role itself. I want every female breadwinner to recognise they have support and not feel isolated. I want them to stand tall and proud in their skin and celebrate their situation because:
1. They are leaving a legacy and they want it to be a good one
2. They need support and can't get it without sharing their situation
3. They have the power to change assumptions about gender roles in the future
4. When they have worked through these challenges they can excel in the workplace

This is my first book, I am really proud of it and it is full of practical transformational exercises that the reader can engage in.
I want to bring the tribe of female breadwinners together.

I am married with a primary school aged daughter. I love live music, visiting art galleries, red wine, olives and sunshine.

I hope that you enjoy Rocking Your Role.

I have read the first chapter of this book and couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the entire book, as there are practical exercises for examining (without guilt) your career as the main breadwinner in your home, doing so over a 12-week period of journalling and reflection. The tone of Jenny's book is uplifting and inspiring, as she shares not just from clinical expertise, but from her own heart and soul.

Format: Paperback
I think this book will open your eyes to some dilemmas women face when confronted with today's reality of having the their men take a new role living behind traditional roles that we as women as very accustomed to. It will answer many questions that have not been answered and recognize attitudes that we have not realize we as women had because of the newness of our new roles in this society. I think this book can be very helpful to women that are in the workforce unwillingly and thus face the frustrations of adjusting to a roll they are not necessarily happy about.
