I've been using Craftsman magnetic trays for many years, and they have all worked fine at keeping iron and steel parts together. When I decided to get a few more, I thought I'd get a few different makes and styles for comparison.I ordered The Advanced Tool Design Magnetic 5 1/2" Stainless Steel rectangular parts tray, the Advanced Tool Design Model ATD-8760 Stainless Steel round parts tray, and the Titan 11061 Mini Magnetic Parts Tray. They are all great. however the ATD models have stronger magnets and are sturdier. In fact the Adv. Tool Design 5 1/2" rectangular has unbelievable magnets. you can literally hold a hammer upside down with this thing. It takes 2 hands to remove it from my jointer stand. These ATD folks know how to make magnets. Don't get me wrong, the Titan 11061 is fine as well, but not in a league with the ATDs. But then it's $2 less expensive thgan the ATD-8760. Actually, Titan is shinier - if you're into appearance :-). The Titan also got dented in shipment - not that it matters for the application for which it is intended. The ATDs ship in cardboard boxes where the Titan ships unprotected.

This order arrived on time. This was a gift for my son-in-law and he was pleased with it. He will use it in his garage.

these trays can be very handy. I use them to hold bullets of pellets when loading guns, or to hold small electronic components.
be aware, as you put more and more metal in these, the individual attraction each piece has to the tray decreases (ie a full can of pellets)

I don't know why I never saw these before. I was at a friends house helping him work on his car when I saw him toss bolts into a magnetic bowl. I was amazed - what a brilliant idea. I could of bought one from sears for a little more, but this one is just fine. I had a hard time removing the label from the bowl, it left goo behind.

small and handy, it's stupid to spend this amt on a small tray, but definitely useful. Saves you the trouble of missing screws when you accidentally knock it over.

Magnets are very strong, and product works great. I just wish the sticker in the middle was easy to remove.

This is a handy little product. My fairly major complaint is that the sticker leaves adhesive that will require some nasty chemical to remove. You have a choice between looking at the brand name and bar code, getting dirt and dust stuck on the sticky surface (stuck to the adhesive left by the sticker), or using a toxic chemical like Goof-Off or Goo Gone to remove the adhesive. What a pain.
