I love to paint, but my drawing skills are not the best. This product works for copying drawings or photos to enlarge or reduce. Try it you'll like it.

I am using the pantograph to make enlarged drawings from photos. It works well; I thought it might be a little more accurate. I go over the lines several times and they are slightly different. I am an artist doing architectural drawings, so I know when the lines are not accurate; but it saves me a lot of time in doing a basic sketch.

This handy gadget actually works. But then be aware that it takes a very steady hand and quite a bit of experimentation and patience to get everything set up correctly.

The instructions are rather vague, I'd say, so figure on being largely on your own. And there's not much at all included in terms of the lead you need for the job.

But if you have the time to get things worked out, for the money, this is still a pretty good deal, I think. And yes, I would definitely order it again.

Just go VERY slowly and figure on having to flesh things out more than just a bit when you're done with the tracing. So far, I've not been able to duplicate any image, but after about a dozen attempts, I've definitely gotten much better at it.

Interesting way of enlarging/reducing designs. However I wish that both the lead and thumbtacks which were included in the packaging had been labeled - I thought it was just packaging paper and was ready to throw it away before I noticed -- no label on tiny packages - also wish the size lead was listed on the directions which came with the pantograph.

The Pantograph works well. It takes some practice so try drawing some simple shapes to get use
to this device before you start on something more complicated. You have to have a steady hand and patience.

I have not been able to make use of the pantograph because the clamps were not included with the item. I'm not about to drill holes in my kitchen table to anchor it. This is a disappointment.

I received it today after ordering it on the 3rd of February. Pretty fast delivery as it was shipped 2 days after ordering. About the product, Well after reading a few reviews about these panto graphs a few said that they did not want to drill holes into the table. Theres no need to as you can use mini clamps to hold it in place and it does work.
There is only a parts sheet telling you what the parts are and 2 small brown envelopes enclosed, one has 2 pieces of lead and the other has 4 press pins to hold down your clamp which are not needed if you use small ones that you can get from any home depot and lowes.
There really is not any instructions inside to tell you how to use it and how it works but its pretty easy to figure it out . You do have to keep tightening up the parts with the nuts on but its really no biggie. About the pantograph itself , its the first time I have used one and its pretty easy , I did a tigers head about 1 3/4 inches bigger than the original , didnt come out too bad as I only used a rough outline to work with you do need a pretty steady hand but I am sure with a little practice and time it will work like a charm. I like it and would recommend it to anyone

This product works as described. It does take more room to use than I thought it would..I'm still satisfied with the item.
