This provides a nice air flow if you're not exerting yourself much; however, if I'm planing a stack or boards and moving them quickly from infeed to outfeed, the airflow seems a little anemic.

The battery unit is very fragile, and after breaking two, I've given up on this.

Being a wood worker and doing extensive remodeling I was looking for something that would draw air from somewhere other than the area that your face is being exposed to. This respirator is basically an aquarium pump mounted to your face, somewhat noisy and adding the weight where you don't really want it. The other issue I have is that it really doesn't fit my face that well. Instead of the battery pack being the only thing on you clip to your belt, it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to come up with multiple filters as part of the belt unit, making the respirator lighter and only a hose connection to the face unit.

Have had this for a couple of years. Works remarkably well, just enough positive pressure to keep all dust out. Bonus is that a little air escapes from the top of the mask and keeps my glasses from fogging. Highly recommend this, and that you keep a couple of sets of recharged AA batteries around to keep you operating for many hours. Now all I need are goggles that fit over my glasses to keep sawdust out of my eyes.

I've had excellent results using the power respirator. It fits well even though I wear eyeglasses. Though I have asthma the constant supply of fresh, cool air makes breathing very easy even while in the middle of heavy sanding. I'm claustrophobic, but this mask caused no issues at all. I highly recommend the power respirator.

This is indeed a comfortable mask: good air flow, fairly light, providing good ventilation to your face while keeping your glasses clear of fog. Easy to put on, and allows the use of ear muffs. A few observations: poor battery plug and limited filter choices. The plug will, from time to time, give you connection problems, and there are no P100 available for it. In sum, it's my favorite mask when I am generating dust.

Works for COPD victims....comfortable. Cartridge replacement is ez. I do not do woodworking without it. Motor has been consistent and battery consumption is reasonable.

works well, have to change the batterys a lot, but it does have a adapter on the side to plug in a bigger power source, like a cigerit plug
