I've been wearing Rockports for 20 years and have always loved their quality. Unfortunately the pair of these XCS that I bought started delaminating the sole inserts within 3 weeks of the time I bought them and one heel insert came off completely shortly after. They also showed as much heel wear in that time frame as any previous pair I had did in five years.
Most disappointing of all, two emails to their customer service department have gone unanswered. I would be very wary of this model and now wonder if Rockport is just not the company they used to be.

It was a gift and he loved the shoes. They look great and are so comfortable for him.
