Worn out to soon, December 28, 2011
My husband bought these sandals in June of 2010. He really liked the way they looked and initially found them to be quite comfortable. He wore them during that summer, probably 20 times in all, and then put them away for the winter. He began to wear them again this summer and said that they were not as comfortable as they had been.
Thinking that the comfort issue might have to do with changes in his feet rather than with the sandals themselves, he tried wearing them for a few days. Unfortunately, the straps started to come loose from the sole on one of the sandals within about a week. Also unfortunately, it was too late to return them for anything resembling a full refund.
Maybe we just ended up with a lemon, but I advise caution in purchasing these not-inexpensive sandals. They shouldn't have worn out after fewer than 30 wearings - especially in view of the fact that my husband is 78 and did not subject them to any rigorous use.
