5.0 out of 5 stars rockport review
The best shoe on the market for walking/standing. I am on my feet for 8 hrs or more a day as a bank guard. Very comfortable and shock absorbing. Feet and legs feel good after a shift. Not my first pair and will not be my last. A 60 year old could not ask for any better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rockport disappointment
I bought this shoe to replace my old World Tour Classic, hoping that it would be something similar. It turned out to be far from it. It does not have a strong support on the sides, nor does it have the orthopedic support. It is certainly not "engineered" to fit well.

Similar in shape but much inferior in quality, perhaps this was thought as a cheap alternative to the WTC. It's no wonder that Rockport does not advertise it on its own website.

In the end, I ended up buying another pair of WTC. I wonder why Rockport has such a model in the first place.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice shoe, but as comfortable as other Rockport Shoes., February 15, 2010
This shoe is very nice for the price, but they seem to be less comfortable than other Rockport shoes I have had in the past. The insoles do not seem to be as chussy, as others. Normally I have no break-in time when I wear a new pair of Rockport Shoes. That is not the case with these shoes and I am almost ready to look for a set of Dr. Shools to insert into them. On the flip side the ankle part of is very well padded and thus makes that very comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rockport Shoes, October 26, 2009

Rockport continues to make comfortable and durable shoes. While the price seems to have gone up approximately 20% since I purchaced a previous pair of Rockport's, they are still a good buy. My older pair of Rockport's are still around and I wear them - the top (leather portion) is what has almost worn out, not the shoe sole, so I don't wear them to work anymore- but they are good shoes for working outside or even camping.

This shoe is probably the most comfortable and rugged shoe I have ever owned. I love them. I have owned the same shoe for over three years and was lucky enough to find the same model on Amazon and purchase another pair. The original pair are still going strong.

In my job, I do a lot of walking and standing and these shoes are the best I have ever worn for work. Feet don't hurt after a long day, and my legs aren't tired after standing. If you need work shoes, get these.

I started buying Rockport Eurekas 5 years ago; I now own three pairs in different colors. I wear them all day everyday for work and away from work. Even though I'm standing or walking all day long, my feet feel just fine. These shoes are good-looking, well-made, lightweight, and very comfortable. The leather is supple, and the insoles are nicely padded.

The 5-year old pair still looks good; not only are the insoles still in good condition, I haven't needed to replace any shoelaces yet. Yes, the brown shoes scuff more readily than the black, but they don't scuff as noticeably as many other maker's brown shoes I considered.

These are men's shoes; they don't come in women's sizes. I buy a 7M, which fits my 8-1/2M woman's feet just right.

5.0 out of 5 stars 85742, May 15, 2009
I have been a longtime buyer of Rockport's shoes for a number of reasons.
The first is their high quality. I am a school teacher, and I am usually on my feet for most of the day. Rockpports are so comfortable, when I walk they feel as if they are massaging my feet. Most of the shoes I have had lasted from three to five years.
The second is their practicality. They are not built for fashion, but for comfort. I tried other brands, but I always return to Rockports. It always has been a very good relationship. Rockports take care of my feet better than any other brand.
The way they feel when they are brand new. After I open a box, I get the impression that whoever has made my shoes are craftman who take great pride in producing a good product.
T could spend thousand of dollars on shoes, but I have never felt the need. At my age, comfort is very, very important
