3.0 out of 5 stars Guitar Review April 11, 2014
By Zuul
I rated this game 5 stars, but this rating is for the guitar that came bundled with the game...I seem to get a lot of questions about it, so yeah, here ya go....

If you're going to buy the Guitar Bundle, I would suggest that you just get the Epiphone Les Paul Special II on a seperate order. It's essentially the same guitar, but it has two humbuckers and a bridge you can adjust the intonation on, and it would only cost you about 10-25 extra depending on where you shop. The problem is, the game picks up on intonation (only been a problem once or twice, but still) so why it comes bundled with a guitar that you cannot set intonation uhhhh.....gee.

Anyway, if you are brand spanking new, never played before, maybe never even have held a guitar before, then YES go for it!!! This guitar is perfect for you! It is an ideal starter guitar, and a picture perfect example of sometimes it's best to get yourself a goldfish before getting a rottweiler....

It holds a tune very well, and rings out beautifully, and hey, the game doesnt discriminate. If this is your first, it's also a great starting point as far as things like handling of a guitar, getting used to basic repairs and string changes. I mean let's face it....if you're going to bang into walls, over wind the truss rod, or slip with a screwdriver and put a huge gouge in the finish, it's best that that sort of thing happens to the Epiphone Les Paul rather than the Gibson Les Paul, right? Right!

...........but....ok.....I'm not going to B.S. you, I wouldn't be caught dead in public with this thing haha....Like I said, it's just the goldfish.
