I just finished my 1st project, fixing a door jam, with this oscillating tool. This Shop Series model, even though has only 2.0 amps, got a lot of power. The oscillating motion makes my sanding job effortless. The sanding sheet attached very well to the pad. Love it! The 10 foot cord is a plus as well.

I got it at Walmart.com for $59 with a free site-to-store shipping. It's a real bargain! I also ordered a 13-piece of blade set, made by Versa Tool, as well. I got all the necessary blades for my tool this way without paying for the price of a 72-piece kit set, which will give me a lot of sanding sheets instead. I already have my 2nd project line up. And I can't wait to experiment this tool again.

Will I recommend it to friends? Definitely, yes!

I've only used this tool once, for a few hours, but have found it effective for my project and easy to use. The blade was easy to install and remove, and the weight of the unit was not unbearable for overhead work. I used it to cut holes to install under-eave vents. I did not experience overheating, and there was no loss of power with only minor vibration, which was expected. I have a few more vents to go, but this tool has made the job a lot easier for this 65yo (female) senior citizen. I consider this tool a wise investment.

This is a tool I use for special operations because there is no other tool like it, esp for small places. There is an improved design to the washer and screw from previous models that helps keep the blade tight and running smoothly.

Wow! Did some research on OT's and they are all similar in terms of design. However when I received this OT I noticed some very nice improvements; (1) rubberized casing, all the black portions (2) vacuum attachment which is not shown in the pics (3) 6 variable speeds and of course the tool bag and blades. Overall this is a well made and designed OT. It will help re-coping the pool a breeze and glad its mine! EXCELLENT VALUE!

Got this "used" (new condition, with everything it was supposed to have) in anticipation of doing a few projects where I don't want to damage more than I need to. Used it once so far to cut out a section of plywood shelving to clear the way to an outlet. It worked fine and probably would do even better with an aftermarket cutting head, but I am not complaining. I think I pushed too hard on it and some of the wood scorched. It came with a few heads and sandpaper to get started. The included speed control might be nice if one finds that is needed for a specific purpose. Eyeballed the ones at Harbor Freight, but am glad I did not get one of theirs...seemed much more cheaply made and there is no guarantee they would have the cutting heads for it, because they were sold out of the ones I wanted. (I am not completely anti-Harbor Freight...I have one of their drill presses, and it works fine for the occasional home project).

For smaller projects this tool rocks. I removed tough bolts, cut small lines in small wood. great for projects the big boys are just to big for. I finished alot of my bed in the room. no taking it apart to recut or change. just do it there. It also worked great for making my frame for my bathroom mirror.

I use this tool about 5 or 6 times a year. But, while it does not get much use, when you need it there is no substitute. I have used it to lay flooring (cutting around door jams), putting electrical boxes in tight places, trimming small resets on boards, scrapping cement off of a slab, adjusting door frames, hanging/adjusting pocket doors, clip nails, etc.

The only substitute for this tool are a lot of hand tools (which I own, BTW). This sonic tool does the job in a fraction of the time of hand tools.

This is by far the most useful tool I've ever used. I cut everything from metal shelving, to sheetrock, to cabinets with this. Worth every penny comes with an adapter so that you can use other attachments from Dremel line.
