As usual Amazon shipping could not have been better. Product was as described only better the product description failed to note that cutting depths longer than 16" can be made by turning the blade perpendicular to the arm. Once I disconnected all of the "OSHA" safety trash* and the non-functioning dust blower and threw it all away it was almost ready to go. I built a wooden base for it and padded it with some rubber shelf liner material and locked it down in my "Workmate 225". Some vibration is apparent at 1500 spm but that is to be expected. Speeds somewhere in the mid range works good for 1/4" to 3/4" pine and 1/2 birch plywood. The speed control helps for tight inside cuts.

*Removing the cover on the right side makes blade changes mush easier. Hope this helps.

The air hose coupler broke the first day. I've gerry rigged it with duct tape to keep it in place. The adjustable foot that holds down the stock while cutting is really flimsy and bends very easily.

Fairly simple to change blades, but a real vibrator. It has to be bolted down. Since I like to have it portable to conserve work space, I bolted it to a board base that I can clamp to my bench when in use but store on a shelf when not in use.

It works, but I wish I had spent more and got something of higher quality.

I bought this for my classroom because I needed to replace one that died.

It's ok. It works, but there are some things I really dislike about it. First, is that the shoe that holds the stock against the table is thin and has a tendency to shift out of square with the table unless you really screw it tight. Also the blade is difficult to keep straight and true due to the way the machine actually holds the blade. This isn't a problem for me, but the students have trouble adjusting for the out of true angle.

In conclusion, if you're on a budget this will work, but I kind of wish I'd spent more to buy a nicer, heavier one. I don't think this is going to hold up well over years of abuse.
