:Rockwell RK9192 JawHorse & Plywood Jaw Combo Pack Great product: Compact storage, roll around wheels, plywood extension great, solid construction.

The jawhorse comes in handy on a project where you don't have that other hand.

Pros:

1. Its strong. I've used it to hold plywood while I cut, drawers while I drilled for new hardware, and other wood while I painted on it.

2. its portable. It can easily be carried around without it putting too much strain on your back

Cons:

1. It's awkward to fold up. I almost had to pull out the manual to find out how the jawhorse folded up. The back legs are explanatory, but the front leg and the pedal seem awkardly in the way. Seems like they could have come up with something better than the current design.

2. If you want to hold a full sheet of plywood, you have to change the jaw. It's not hard, just an extra 5 minutes added to the job.

3. Sometimes when closing the jaw (tightening to the wood) it misses on its grip and you have to re-crank it all the way. Not a big deal...just annoying.

Overall, a great product if you are doing projects by yourself.

This thing is worth the price! I recommend you get it. I have used it for everything I do know - project-wise.

I even got the miter saw attachment.

I wish I went ahead and got the version that holds wider sheets.... go ahead and just do that now... you will regret it later. I can always add on but wasteful after the fact.

Great product really comes in handy and holds projects securely. No complaints. Very versatile. Easy to use. Very light weight.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He has used it building steps for our back deck. It was his second pair of hands. He said "It works great, I dont know how I did without it". He really loves this new tool. And we will have a lot more uses for it in the future.

Amazon discounted the Jawhorse when I was in the middle of a wood working project; it arrived early(!) and in good condition. I put this product to use right away on the project and have used it at almost every step of the project. I work alone and it is the second set of hands I always seem to need. Quick and easy to set up and easy and effective to use. The Jawhorse is now an indispensible item in my workshop!

The Jawhorse is a great tool ... I can't believe how many uses I find for it. It basically will replace other shop saw horses and clamps used to secure wood for cutting. The plywood jaw is very handy for full sheets of plywood ... all that is needed to secure the end of plywood is using another portable saw horse since the height of the Jawhorse is nearly the same as the molded fold-up saw horses I use. I would recommend getting the plywood jaw or the updated sheetmaster Jawhorse since invariably cutting a full-sheet of plywood is going to be one of the first tasks needed by anyone. I'm very tempted to purchase a 2nd Jawhorse ... having two could handle about any task. Like many reviewers, I leave mine set up all the time ... easy to move out of the way.

I've been contemplating this Jawhorse for a while now and finally got one because it was bundled with the Plywood jaw and outrigger brackets. The first day I put it in the garage, I was already finding uses for it. I had to make an alteration to a cabinet panel and this held the panel at the exact height that I needed it to refit the trim piece on it where I would normally have it clamped down to a table with me hunched over. A few minutes later, I had a random piece of scrap wood in the jaws and was using it as a small work surface (instead of cleaning off my work table). Then, without missing a beat, I used the Jawhorse to hold the panel together once I had re-glued it.

Rearranging the jaws (for larger or smaller objects) takes just a moment. I'm able to switch tasks very quickly with the way that this is designed. I like that I can now set up a full sized piece of sheet stock and use it as an auxiliary table, then pack it up when I want my space back. This thing is also sturdy. I'm very happy with it so far.

The only problem I have with it so far is that the Owner's manual only has pictures. It depicts different tasks that you can perform with the Jawhorse but it doesn't specify that some of them are separate attachments or more importantly the names and model numbers for those attachments. A quick search is enough to find the info, so I can't really fault the Jawhorse itself. I guess they're catering the manual to the typical user that opens and plays with their toys before reading the books on them (like myself).

They have these for $159 at Lowes right now, so don't buy it here. The sale at Lowes will be on for a week or so.
