5.0 out of 5 stars RHPS Lives On!!!!!!!!!
This CD is one of the best in my collection. Kim Criswell makes for a powerful, yet sweet Janet. Issy Van Randwyck is the best Coloumbias I've ever heard. Aidan Bell streches his vocals to become the ideal Riff Raff. Worth the asking price and then some!

3.0 out of 5 stars It was ok.
The small Orchestration and use of the piano and percussion reminded me of a small regional theatre or High School production of "The Rocky Horror Show", I liked It very much.

3.0 out of 5 stars Let's do the time warp again....and again?, April 8, 2001
This review is from: The Rocky Horror Show: Selected Highlights (1995 Studio Cast) (Audio CD)
While this was a good effort, especially without Tim Curry as Frank N Furter (which is hard to live up to), I think that the cast was trying to improve upon something that was already virtually perfect. So instead of making it better, a lot was different, and maybe it's just because of the fact I'm used to the classic RHPS, but I really don't like the....interpretation (I suppose that's the right word, it's just odd to call it an interpretation when you're talking about Rocky, LOL!) of it, raunchiness is great, but trying to "over-sex" Rocky Horror is a pretty bad idea. There's more to it than sex and when you try and make it so that's all there is in the show, the real messages of being true to yourself and never go into a mysterious mansion if your car breaks down are lost. And you don't want the Rocky Horror Show to be solely known for sex, because it gets that reputation and it loses some following. O'Brien was genius and able to balance sex with a deeper meaning, don't upset the balance.
