If you liked the first Rocky game then you will like this one, but be warned "not much has changed". Everything is basically the same; the graphics, controls, music.

super combo punches
different training
slow motion knock down replays
some new boxers
some new arenas
smarter AI (computer opponent)
career mode with Apollo, Rocky, Drago, or Clubber
no more walking to the ring entrances (a bad idea)

Like the first game you still have the regular super punches, but now you can build up a special meter that allows you to deliver a super punch combo. The training includes jump rope and chicken chase which is cool, but training is much harder in this game then the first. The AI opponents are much harder in this game (on medium or hard mode). Not only does the AI learn your style and force you to adapt to a different style to win, but alot of energy is renewed during the fight and between rounds (which can be frustrating). If you thought you were a master of the first game, this one will really test your skills.

In conclusion, if you'r a fan of the first rocky and you crave more of a challenge from the AI(computer opponent) you should pick up this game. The minor updates in the sequel/prequel are not worth 50 or 40 dollars, but you can now get this game new for 20 dollars or less (which is a good deal).

Finally. This is the Rocky game I wanted the first time around. Really cool game that is true to the Rocky films. My only complaint is that some of the voice actors used don't really sound anything like the real actors in the films. That's the only thing that takes away from this game. As for everything else I'm happy.

People like me who hated the last cheesy Rocky game will like this one.

This game is amazing. It has all the characters from all the rocky movies (up to number 6) including,Rocky, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Tommy Gun, and the master of disaster, the king of sting, Apollo Creed. This game has amazing graphics and you can play story mode as 4 different characters. This game is amazing. This game is amazing but has some faults to it, like when you get knocked down the refs count very fast. And also you can't play as Tommy gun in story mode. Other than that this game is fantastic for all ages and rocky likers or not. Have fun and "It ain't over 'till it's over".

This game reached my expectations, was fun and of course if you love rocky you'll like this game, maybe even mor ethat the first game, worth 20 bucks.

this game has a unique feel to it,it actually feels like you are in the rocky films and you are able to rewrite them how you rekon they should have been written, "Dragos rubbish and easy to beat unlike the film" Highly recomended 10/10 better than the fight nights series.

I GIVE THIS VIDEO GAME A 5, BECAUSE I THINK IT IS THE BEST BOXING GAME IN THE WORLD.i LOVE HOW THE GAME HAS ALL THE CHARACTERS LIKE: APOLLO, TOMMY GUNN, iVAN DRAGO, CLUBBER LANG, ROCKY BALBO, AND A BUNCH MORE, I ALSO LIKE HOW IT HAS LIKE THE SOUNDTRACK ON THE GAME, SO YOU CAN LISTIN TO THE BOXING MUSIC OF ALL THE Rocky movies. What i did not like was that if you turn the game over and u see you can get rocky iv, but i had trouble finding it on the game untill i knew where u could buy boxers.this video game is very amazing cause You can pick how many rounds u want when u are boxing. You can power hit people , and you can also buy good boxers and go all the way for a championships and u can also buy great stadiums!

This will be one of the best sports games of 2004. There's all new features to the game such as: more moves and different punches, a better story mode in which you can play as one of the 5 Rocky legends, and more training games to build up your stats. I have the first Rocky game and it was awesome. So, even if you don't like Rocky or the movie series, GET THIS GAME!!! Oh, by the way, DO NOT BUY GAMECUBE. It has good graphics but there are so little an amount of games. BUY X-BOX OR PLAYSTATION 2.

You might think by the cover of this game it would be COOL. No, this game is the type you get tired of after a while (3 weeks). The graphics are not very good and the characters do not have their natural voices, it is not worth buying and spending your money on. SAVE your money for something you need. Remember Jesus loves you!

You might be thinking, ROCKY, Cool! No, It is exciting at first, but after you past the rocky story mode it starts to get boring, and the game gets easier and easier as you play it more and more. From my opinion you should save your money for something that you need. (remember) Jesus loves you!

Rocky 1 was awsome this is gonna be even better! 'case you can be different people besides just plane old Rocky! For example, Mr. T! He's unstopable!
