Useful field guide,
This review is from: Rocky Mountain Flora (Colorado Mountain Club Field Guides) (Paperback)
This guide is very easy to use in the field. It is a soft cover, half page size so it stows easily in my pack. Flowers are categorized by color and easy to look up. It has additional sections on mosses, mushrooms, grasses, etc. A very user friendly guide.

Love this book. Very comprehensive and easy to use. Flowers are categorized by color which makes it easy to search for plant identification. Color photos are very clear and helpful when identifying flora. Some photos also include an extra up-close photo. Book also includes grasses, sedges & rushes, mushrooms, ferns, lichen, mosses, and other native plants--a real bonus! Includes scientific and common names, physical descriptions, ecology, location, and what to look for. Each description has a space for you to record the date and location of when you saw the plant. Extra journal pages are in the back. Can easily be packed for hiking. This is the best and most complete book that I have found for the Rocky Mountain region.

More details would be nice to see in the next edition. Otherwise, this is a very good guidebook. I really like how the plants are organized by grasses, flower color, mushrooms, lichens.
