1002kbps or 845kbps? This 30th anniversary CD release of the original Rocky film's soundtrack has increased bitrates on all the tracks from remastering. The first number is the bitrate of "Gonna Fly Now" on this rerelease vs. the original CD release. It all sounds a bit better, making one of the best soundtrack albums of all time even better. But no extra tracks. Surely there must have been more of Conti's score that could have been added? Still, an essential part of anyone's collection of great music and definitely the best album of the entire Rocky series, before they abandoned Bill Conti and went off on that ridiculous pop/rap/rock tangent.

This soundtrack is fabulous, just like the film. I think it is a great CD to workout with....Inspiring,to say the least. It was great to hear these tunes, after all these years.ROCKY ROCKS!

Great music. Still inspiring. I bought this cd for my son who is a runner. He plays it as he nears the end of his course.

I listened to this album constantly in high school back in the 70's to get myself psyched up for wrestling meets, etc. I decided to pick up a copy of this CD to see if it was still as good as I remembered it. I wasn't disappointed. It sounded great, much better than the old vinyl LP I used to listen to! If you were a "Rocky" fan like I was, grab yourself a copy of this. It'll bring back memories!

This is the music from the original movie soundtrack and after all these years, along with the movie, it's still the most inspiring work of all time. Bill Conti and Sylvester Stallone are brilliant.

This soundtrack is very moving and yet surprisingly simple. Going the Distance, First Date, Final Bell and Rocky's Reward are my personal favorite tracks. The end of Final Bell chokes me up every time. Perfect CD.

Great soundtrack! Bill Conti is the master. It doesn't have the hard-pounding workout songs like the others, but captures the heart of the movie...the love story and the motivational training/fight songs. The Rocky Balboa CD is even better!!!!

This is NOT the CD you will get. I ordered the 30th Anniversary Edition as described, but what arrived was a cheap import from Argentina. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS NON AMAZON COMPANY!!!

You can if you want: it isn't new, but always true. "Gonna fly now" and "Final Bell" are forever; they always touches me.
Go on, old Rocky: you're always the best!
