I am in awe of how Jordan Austin can get what I was feeling down on paper. She is really something. I had gone through a terrible divorce. My wife of seven years had had an affair. Although I wanted to try and save the marriage, she did not. It became even more difficult in the fact that we have three boys. I thought no one in the world felt the way I did, and I never believed things would get better. However, gratefully, they did turn around, a lot like Mason in this book. I, too, didn't think I was loveable or that anyone would ever want to love me, again. (Again, like Mason.) Yet God had different plans for me. I didn't think much of God after this all had happened to me, but He sure hadn't forgotten about me. It took some time, but now I am in a wonderful relationship with a woman who truly loves me.
It can happen. I know this book is fictional. But I think Austin has a lot of insight into matters of the heart. Although some people think this book might only be for women, it's not. It is for anyone whose heart had been broken, but still believes in love.
Thank you, Jordan Austin. I hope you continue to write. You are really a blessing to all who read your books.
