I have a Surefire G2X Pro 200 lumens that retails for $95. Even the small Rocky in the pack is as bright as the Surefire. These Rocky flashlights even have strobe and strike bezel features. They run on AAA batteries you can find anywhere and are also available as rechargeables. The Surefire requires 123A batteries that are both expensive and hard to find.

Can somebody tell me what I'm missing here?

I have purchased several of these two packs...after gentle duty, the larger light began working intermittently. I would remove the battery pack (fresh batteries tested for voltage) replace the pack, it would work a couple of times and then fail to light. I returned the flashlights for a new two-pack. THE SAME THING happened! Also, on both of the failed lights, the O rings failed when the battery pack was replaced. They simply broke, and upon examination appeared very cheap, and tiny. Be warned! If you are prepping, be wary of this product! I am amazed that SamsClub continues to sell these.

Look elsewhere if you are looking for a reliable tactical light. Both lights worked great - for about an hour. The tail cap switch appears to have failed on one of them. Nice and bright, strobe feature still works on the other, but for how much longer? Swapping the tail cap switch reveals that is the problem. You get what you pay for in this case.

I bought this item somewhere else (samsclub). These flashlights are incredible. I like all the features, and the strike bezel gives an extra amount of security in your hands. Would have liked a nylon holster with them, but again its a great value and product.

i bought these together in a blister pack at sam's and first the larger one quit working when on high then the smaller one quit too. i believe that there's something wrong with the electronics in the switch. they were bright and felt sturdy for the first 4 weeks, now they are useful only for throwing at something. i'd stay clear of them or keep the package and receipt.

Within a month the large flashlight began to work intermittently and then a short developed, it works great for a day after putting new battery's in but they are dead the next. The smaller flashlight fallowed shortly after.

Verified Purchase
I purchased these in October for a Christmas gift. I have Rocky flashlights and was pleased with the intensity of the light, however, when we put these together, the larger one does not work. The switch to turn it on is defective. I will be contacting the seller and update my review once I see how they handle our return. The little one is very bright and works fine. The large one only works if you take the back off and bypass the switch.
