Winter's gone, purchased a couple mounts thru Amazon to attach to my truck bed rails. Added some pics too.

Shipping: Fast, on time and no complaints.

What's in the Box:
(1) 9mm Quick Release Skewer
(1) Cast aluminum mount and instructions/warranty.
The mount is the same as the Rockymounts Clutch SD, but with this item you do not get the locking skewer and you'll have to either gather your own mounting hardware or purchase the SD Hardware Kit found on rockymounts.com for $20.

Here's what I used to attach each mount to my Tacoma's Bed Rail:
(2) 1/4-in-20 x 1-1/2-in hex bolts
(2) 1/4-in flat washers
(2) 1/4-in locking washers
(2) 1/4-in unistruts, I removed the spring w/ a pair of pliers
*All hardware is stainless steel to resist corrosion and cost me about $6 total to attach both mounts.

This great product does exactly what you think it should do, secure your bike while you're in motion. I mounted a couple of these to the rails in my pick-up and dropped the forks of my Bianchi in and away we went. They hold the bike tightly and work very well. The non-locking skewer can be removed and a lockable one can be inserted if needed. I have a set of Rocky Mounts rails on my other vehicle with lockable skewers that I can move to my truck if needed. These do have a large space to pass a cable lock through, so regardless you have options for securing your ride.

Great product!

Does exactly what it says. I got it to mount in my 2014 Toyota Tacoma. After a little while of gathering the correct hardware and some elbow grease I got it mounted. Been using it for about a month with two long (6+hour) trips caring around both my MTB and my off road touring bike and haven't ran into any issues. I love the bulk of the mount and the large opening to fit a cable lock through.

Other than the initial set-up (time and right parts) I haven't had any issues. It is exactly like advertised.

They worked great! I bought three of them and mounted them to a 2 x 10 piece of wood that simply lays across the front of my pick-up bed. I take the front wheels off our bikes and clamp the forks to the Rocky Mounts. The cam type clamping mechanism is simple to use and holds the bikes securely. I also built a bracket out of 2 x 4's to fit back by the raised tailgate to keep the bikes from shifting sideways while driving down bumpy roads.

Works great. To mount to my 2010 Toyota Tacoma stock bed rails, I used the following. Just drill holes in the metal bar and cut to length. You'll need to remove the bed rails to slide the metal bar into them, but it's really easy. See two attached photos for clarity.

One 1" x 1/8" metal bar
Two 1/4"-20 x 1.5" screws
Two 1/4" nuts
Two 1/4" lock washers

I actually took this mount and bolted it to the top of my tool box in my truck. I made a YouTube video of the process if you want to check it out. Just search " Mount your bike on a Truck Box - EASY - Mountian OR Road Bike " The youtube channel is JerryRigEverything

I have used this mount to transport my mountain bike AND my road bike, it worked for both without any modifications. I was a little worried about that before purchasing.

I have since purchased another one, and I have 2 mounts so I can go biking with friends. Check out my youtube video and let me know if you have any questions!

I mounted these in the aluminum extrusion rails of my Nissan Frontier. The clamp works exactly as I anticipated, holds my bike fork with the exact amount of force that I want. The casting has excellent structural integrity and will not wear out easily, it's designed well.

The hole sizes will fit an M6 bolt or 1/4-20 bolt. Only gave it four stars because it didn't come with any bolts, or rail mounts, washers . .. nothing.

Great mount! I actually purchased the sunlite mount and the rockymount together. the Rockymount itself is really heavy duty and I like that you can use it as a tie down unlike the sunlite mount. I installed it on the back panel of a Honda ridgeline and it holds my Cannondale Cx-5 perfect.
