this is probably the best line up rod has ever toured with, any one who is a fan should own this tape, the bass player phil chen is the one who wrote the bass in 'passion' and 'dancin alone' not to mention 'foolish behavior' and 'gimme wings' just watch how he pulls off 'hot legs' in the opening number.carmine appice pounds out a mean beat on the drums and anyone who wants to write off rod as a fem should take note that in his early days in the jeff beck group they together pioneered what we know and love as 'heavy metal'
