This album is a must for current Diesel Boy fans, and also anyone just getting into punk. There's the odd faster song like Emo Boy and 65, much like some of the songs on Sofa King Cool. The characteristic tinge in the lead singers voice is there as ever, and the song writing is still their strongest point. Diesel Boy have always known how to write good, often humorous lyrics, and build them around a brilliantly harmonious, and melodic punk song, without being too adventurous to lose their style.

This is all round good punk - good lyrics, brilliantly melodic songs. What more do you want?

this IS the album of 2001 to me
It has everything a Diesel boy's album should have, and more
Girls, laughs, sex, alcohol, etc (you get the point)
It's fun, but it doesn't just stuck there
you have "dissapearing girl" and "about a girl that don't want me", kinds of romantic-punk-anthems in the edge of Diesel Boy
the rest, ok, it's classic Diesel Boy
but that isn't a bad thing at all, is it?

Well, i must say that this is the best Diesel Boy record, but i won't give those[...] advices like "begin your collection with this one", etc etc, because every record made by them is superb, and if you don't listen the other ones first, you won't understand the great feeling that is to hear Rode Hard And Put Away Wet, and see how this guys have musically grown up (in the good way i mean, not metallica's way)

Diesel Boy RULES !!!

I mean jeeze, I'm a dude and this thing is making me wet! How? I don't know, I guess it's the power of Diesel Boy. Well yet another amazing release in the world of punk. We've already see the transformation of AFI, now the evolution of Diesel Boy. The boys who brought you "Venus Envy" and "Sofa King Cool" have not lost their comical touch on this album, they are just not solely relying on it to sell their work. You will hear some great harmonics on this record, and somehow they manage to make a song about a woman sucking 65... lets call them sausages, a classy song. The classic Dielsel Boy is here with Stroking My Cat, but you'll be pleasantly surprised with the tallent and brilliance of this album. An instant favorite in any collection!
