when i bought this shockmount i wasn't aware that it was not universal, but the price was so cheap, because i bought it used, i didn't want to send it back. I made a minor change, and my mic fit perfect. it works great and even nice to look at with your mic. i also got it two days early.

I use this in conjunction with the Rode boom arm. This product does what it is supposed to: hold the mic in place and allow me to fine tune where the mic is pointing.

I use this with the Rode Podcaster USB Dynamic Microphone and the RODE PSA 1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm (no longer available on Amazon) and everything works beautifully.
