4.0 out of 5 stars Really Sticky Stuff
We have had some scorpions in our house. We put these glue boards under couches, beds, and other dark places. We have caught several scorpions and other bugs. We also caught a mouse.
Be careful where you put them, if you get one on your shoe or hand they are hard to remove, sticky-sticky-sticky.
I rate this product very good. It works.

These traps have been effective for insects, but not mice. We find hair stuck to the boards, but the critters manage to escape before we get to them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best traps, September 20, 2009

These are the best traps that I have found. The peanut butter in the glue attracts the mice very well. You can smell the peanut butter before you open the box. This trap also catches a lot of nasty bugs and huge spiders. And, for the qty and price - it is a great value.

Catch-master Peanut Butter Scented Glue Board

To use a glue board, simply peel off the plastic film, and put in place. The glue is extremely sticky, so handle it with care.

We have a small storage building that crickets love and these glue boards catch those critters by the dozens. We replace the full boards every couple of months in warm weather.

Use scissors to make smaller glue boards before removing the plastic film.

One note of caution though; if you have a curious pet and they get stuck to this thing, they will make a ruckus trying to get free. One board we left outside overnight had feathers on it the next day, so these things can be harmful to birds. You also wouldn't want to use them where children might touch them.

The peanut butter smell isn't too noticeable with one glue board, but the open box of boards stunk so bad, I bought a waterproof plastic box to store them in.

Don't expect it to solve your critter problem overnight. Leave it in place, and keep replacing a glue board as it fills or gets dirty. We don't have mice in our area, so I can't attest to its rodent catching ability.

This product works for crickets and other bugs!

4.0 out of 5 stars Can't just place one down and expect it to work..., November 30, 2011
This review is from: Rodent & Insect Glue Board (1Case-72 Glue Board)
The trick is you have to lay these things down like tile side by side. If you put just one down, any animal will suspect to walk around it. I had several placed side to side and caught a very tiny mouse. I felt really bad for the mouse because it died a horrible death.

It was stuck on this board for hours (I was keeping it until maintenance arrived so I could say, 'told you so'). The little guy squealed like mad, his tail went rigid then even it got stuck on the board. The side of his little face also got stuck. He eventually died later on that day. Before maintenance gave me these sticky boards, I had caught a glimpse of him coming from under the stove to get a helping of the Decon that I had placed down.

Laying these down keeps me from actually seeing them because they will not go near the boards, though I can still hear them under the stove where the sticky isn't reaching. Maintenance refuses for whatever reason to cement the broken drywall behind the stove.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rodent & Insect Glue Board Doesn't Work, September 27, 2010

We received product in a timely manner but these glue boards just don't work. We have the perfect testing grounds for mice products, locating on top of a hilltop. Needless to say, this hilltop living adds up to a breeding ground for mice. We have been battling mice for years, have used every product available including these glue traps which seemed like our last option. We just wanted to keep these rodents from crapping on 3 particular spots around the house. They are to smart to fall for peanut buttered traps, electronic zappers or the infamous concentrated peppermint oil or concoctions & poison baited food which none work. I even spent many hours making a bed of staples on cardboard that you can't touch otherwise you get cut but these SOB mice walk and crap over everything including these glue traps like they are not there. Nothing stops them from getting to their favorite crapping places around the house. These glue traps just are not pressure sensitive enough to stickiness in order to catch mice, only bugs. Yes, traps are fresh and seem to stick to anything that touches them except mice. Are these mice "Super Mice" or what?
We are tired of sweeping mice crap every day. Wish we could get a cat but the coyotes would get them within a weeks.
