Cookie cutter book,
This review is from: Rodeo Legends: Twenty Extraordinary Athletes of America's Sport (Western Horseman Books) (Paperback)
Nothing new or interesting here. It is almost like the author did a google search and then copied and pasted information together to make this book.
What a waste.

Cheesy book,

No wonder the author does not allow anyone to search inside the book, because otherwise they would see how cheesy this book really is. It is like a oversized magazine with little in-depth information. I kept turning the page expecting to see an advertisement for a man's cologne. The book was cheap, poorly researched and boring.

Don't waste your time or money,
By Misha Jibst (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rodeo Legends: Twenty Extraordinary Athletes of America's Sport (Western Horseman Books) (Paperback)
Sadly, there are not a lot of books on rodeos and rodeo riders. For that reason anyone interested in this sport winds up buying whatever books are out there. But, be forewarned, do not waste your money on this book - There is nothing in it that has not been covered in the few other, better written books on the subject.
It is clear that the author made little attempt at researching facts and put little effort into writing this book.

For $2.99 I would give it 2 stars,

A little interesting information to be found here, but the operative word is "little."
Certainly not worth $12.00. If I bought it from the discount bin at Target for $2.99, I would have given it 2 or 3 stars. But, certainly, the amount of information does not warrant a $12.00 price tag.

My son has really enjoyed reading about the various people and events that they pursue in this book. Interesting to read.
