Wild Thing (you make my heart sing)
Jennifer Olds knows her way around bars and barns, but really shines when dissecting the human heart. Her warmth, vulnerability, and tough vernacular are startling and innovative, and her freshness is a great boon to poetry. I saw her read in England. What an experience!

A collection of poetry that will make you think.
Jennifer Olds poetry is sometimes sad, sometimes uplifting but always thought provoking. She writes about the everyday life of growing up on a farm in Southern California. I truely enjoy reading her poetry.
