A real find, January 23, 2008

These songs are a real find. Beautiful. As I hear more of the Naxos releases of Rodrigo's music I am coming to realize he was much more than just the composer of the "Concierto de Aranjuez". I am coming to believe that he was the next in the string of great Western composers that I had thought ended with Shostakovich. Get this CD and listen to these songs.
