"Gallia" from rogaska crystal is perhaps the most popular stem and barware pattern in the world. Since its introduction in 1982, hundreds of thousands of pieces of this classic stem have been sold around the world, with special emphasis in the united states, starting in the mid 1980's. Now available directly from the manufacturer, each piece of this complex and ornate stem is handmade from start to finish, created at the rogaska factory in Slovenia eu, about four hours east of Venice. Part of a glass-making tradition dating back to 1662, the master glass blowers and cutters at rogaska make each piece of Gallia as a single work of art, which adds that beauty and tradition to your dining room table. The Gallia pattern features a unique design featuring two styles of cutting: a classic criss-cross pattern at the bottom, with an alternating band of rounds and marquis cuts around the middle, and light, airy grey-cut flowers at the top. The stem is hexagonal, full 24-percent lead crystal, hand-made and hand-cut in Slovenia.
