I shared this with my two and four year old - they loved it! The pictures were large enough to point out things like eyes, mouths, etc. This will probably become a favorite reread.

It is a wonderful children's book that is not too short, and it's not too long, easily keeping the attention span of children of this age. The fact that the author subtly allows the children to learn about other cultures, and ending with a question that opens up a neat dialog with your child about places they would like to visit someday. A perfect story to read to your child before bed, or any time for that matter. It would also be great for elementary teachers who might be teaching about other cultures and countries, and leads directly into asking them where they'd like to go, which would be a neat writing exercise where they could write their own answers and explain why they would like to go there, and what they might learn from that culture. I highly recommend this book to any teachers or parents who truly understand the value and importance of reading to a child.
