Roy Rogers, Jr. has the Happy Trails Theater in Branson, Mo. It is a tribute to his parents ROY ROGERS and DALE EVANS.

I was there this September for the Roy Rogers Roundup. I was roaming through the gift shop between shows when I came across this book -- ROY ROGERS COMICS. Just the title brought back pleasant menories from my pre-teen and teen-age years. It is a hardcovered book featuring Dell comics of the 40s. I remember the first week of each month I couldn't wait for my father to come home from work. He knew how much I liked Roy Rogers and would watch for the Roy Rogers Comic Book to come on the stand. Sure enough, every month he brought home my favorite cowboy's adventures.

This hardback book has Six excellently restored stories of Roy's adventures. Trigger has his story of rescuing a frightened black,
lost, colt.

Since I was at the Roy Rogers Roundup I decided to purchase the book and ask Dusty and his son Dustin to autograph it for me. They did -- and this is one of my treasured possessions.

If you liked the old comics then you will really like the "new" old release of some of Roy's comics. They are a great read and bring back to those thrilling days of Yesterday------.
