More About the Author

A lifelong lover of books, Suzanne Enoch has been writing them since she learned to read. She is the author of two well-received Avon Regencies, The Black Duke's Prize and Angel's Devil, and five Avon Romances: Lady Rogue, Stolen Kisses, By Love Undone, Taming Rafe and Reforming a Rake. Born and raised in Southern California, Suzanne lives a few scant miles from Disneyland with her collection of Star Wars action figures and a Cairn terrier named Katie (after the heroine of her first Regency). She's still looking for her own hero, and hopes he will be handsome, titled, and just a little wicked. Meanwhile, she's currently at work inventing him in her next historical romance.

An absolutely wonderful historical romance, Rogue with a Brogue was a fantastic read. I loved this book! With its sweet romance, skillful suspense, and enjoyable story, it was a perfect read.

Mary was a wonderful heroine. She was strong and independently minded, refusing to let others rule her life. And, she was also a kind-hearted, genuinely likable character. I thought she was lovely.

Arran was amazing. He was so sweet and, when this man fell, he fell hard. Nothing could stop him from being with the woman he loved, not even a centuries old feud. He was clever, sweet, and I totally loved him.

The romance was jut lovely. Mary and Arran were so wonderful together. They were both very strong and willing to fight for what they wanted. I really appreciated that they didn't bother with denial. Instead, once they both recognized their feelings for each other, they were willing to do anything to hold on to each other. Not to mention the chemistry between them. I thought they were a perfect couple.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. Throughout the book, as Mary and Arran were on the run, the suspense and the constant worry that they would be caught kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the story and the ending was perfect.

Rogue with a Brogue was a brilliant historical romance. I absolutely loved this book! Everything about it was just lovely and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Romance lovers, this book is a must read.

This is the 2nd book in Suzanne Enoch's Scandalous Highlanders series and I enjoyed it very much. I will not write plot spoilers but think Scottish Romeo & Juliet with a happier ending! I also enjoyed the first book but I like Arran even better than his brother Ranulf (The Devil Wears Kilts). The heroine is likeable at first and gets better as the story progresses. Looking forward to "Mad ,Bad & Dangerous in Plaid", the next book of the series. Suzanne Enoch is a wonderful author. The only part I didn't like, and I may have missed it, was Francis Henning did not appear in this book. He usually has a cameo somewhere. However some characters from The Scandalous Brides series were at the theater.

What a lively book. I do like a wild Highlander story and boy did I get it with this story. Suzanne should be proud of this book. It's Highlanders so you know there is arguing and fighting. Two people aren't-Arran MacLawry and Mary Campbell. Their families are sworn enemies but find they like each other. I can't imagine living back then when the Laird of the Clan told you who to marry. They run away and there begins all the twisty, turny spoilers for the book. I won't ruin it for you. Most of it is easy to figure out but the big one I wasn't ready for. Pass the word- Read this book! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

This stunning romance has it all: a sizzling relationship, clan family drama, suspense, danger, and even a road trip adventure. This is the second book in Suzanne Enoch’s Scandalous Highlanders series—the first was The Devil Wears Kilts—but it can be read on its own.
Arran MacLawry and Mary Campbell’s clans have been feuding for hundreds of years and, despite a tentative truce, tensions still run high. It’s the Regency era and times are changing, with Arran’s older brother and clan chief, Ranulf, engaged to an English lady and with the Campbell family now mostly living in England.
Arran is in England after rushing there to hopefully save his brother from an ill-judged marriage but, too late, Ran is deeply in love. So Arran is simply in London living with his brother and younger sister, Rowena, helping to keep the truce with the Campbells until Ran’s marriage.
He spots the lovely and lively Mary in a mask at a ball and the sparks fly with their spirited conversation. Arran has no idea who the lady is but she knows who he is. He takes her by surprise when he sweeps her into a dance to escape the clinging vine younger sister of Ran’s Charlotte.
Arran is promised to another woman, another clan the MacLawry’s are hoping to unite with. Though he’s not interested, he realizes his fate is to follow his brother’s orders for the good of the clan. But after meeting Mary, Deirdre is boring and dull by comparison. And if Ran can marry for love, why can’t he?
Mary wants love and excitement but is a pawn in her clan’s wars, as most women usually are. She is the only daughter and heir of the powerful clan Campbell, but has lived in England almost her entire life. She falls in love with Arran against her better judgment.

This is book 2 in the Scandalous Highlanders series.

Grabbing the masked vixen, Arran MacLawry was only trying to get out of dancing with his sister's friend. Little did he know that he was dancing with the enemy.

Mary Campbell, knew that she was dancing with a MacLawry. But when she figured out that he did know she was a Campbell, it was too good of a chance to dance on the wild side. She had only heard bad things about the rival clan and wanted to see for herself what all the talk was.

Upon learning identity of the vixen he danced with, Arran sets out to confront her. Little did he know that even with knowing she was his enemy, the attraction he felt for her was still there. Even more surprising, was that it was mutual.

What will these two enemies do when they find that they just can't stay away from each other?

LOVED this story!! I've been a fan of Suzanne Enoch for many years and she did not disappoint with this new series. The whole MacLawry family has a distain for London (except for Rowena) and when she runs off the family follows. When you have two Highland rogues in London, mayhem ensues.

Arran watched his brother fall in love with an English woman and can't believe that he did that to the family. So when he falls for someone in an enemy clan, he has to wonder if he was too hard on his brother. I really liked Arran and Mary together. I loved all their sneaking around to be together as it kept me wondering what they would do next. Each of them were willing to go against their clan just to see if there was something more than just a physical attraction between them. They were willing to over look the history of the clans, to find true love.

Rowena and Lachlan's story is next. I don't think I can wait until March 2015 to read it. Ugh!
