I purchased this before traveling a couple months ago for use on a trip to NY. Four of the six people I was traveling with had their cards scanned and compromised. Happy to say I was one of the two who did not!!! (And I utilized one of these on each side of my wallet)

    -Happy Customer!

i got this a day early. which is great, i love amazon. when i opened it i totally thought i got ripped off. i mean its a piece of paper the size of a dollar bill. so i hopped on the internet an found out it does work. it is a piece of paper but in between the outer layers is a thin sheet of metal. that will set off metal detectors at the airport. so for ten bucks[shipping included] brings peace of mind.

I purchased the WalletGuard, Credit Card Sleeves, and Passport Sleeves from Rogues website. The WalletGuard really is the same size as a US dollar bill. In my opinion, it needs to be longer because it doesn't cover about 1/5th of the credit cards area on the edges of my bi-fold wallet. My solution was to put the credit card sleeves behind my credit cards. Also, for the price of these things, shipping and handling really should be free.

2/22/2014 Update: I have a bi-fold wallet and I put the WalletGuard insert inside the two pockets that face each other (so that it runs the length of the wallet, protects the credit cards, but not the money). It stuck to the inside of of my nylon wallet and it took some finagling to peel off because it's tough to get my fingers inside those pockets. I still left it in the same pockets after I peeled it off, checked again, and it is indeed stuck again. The center of the insert is starting to degrade where it bends when I fold my wallet. The paper is coming off and it looks like a clear piece of plastic film inside the paper covering.

Does it work? Maybe. I put a Snap Fitness HID proximity access card into one of the credit card holders, then put it inside my wallet where it would also be covered by the longer WalletGuard insert. The Snap Fitness card would still work, but only on one side of my wallet and I had to put my wallet directly up against the reader panel. I would not buy again because I think this is mainly a curiosity. If I was really concerned about RFID blocking, I'd probably try one of those woven stainless steel wallets.

If you have a lot of credit cards (like I do), the RFID sleeves will make your wallet a lot thicker. The Rogue RFID wallet insert if a far better solution because it protects your whole wallet and is thinner than even one of the sleeves that protects only one credit card. By the way, don't forget that many states hide confidential data in your driver's license too. Finally, if you have a large wallet (like I do), you make need 2 or 3 Rogue wallet inserts (I recommend you tape them together) to protect your whole wallet, but it will probably still cost less than a lot of credit card sleeves.

I bought this for my security crazy friend. When it arrived in a bubble wrapped bag I was expecting something different. It was just a thin piece of plastic. It was hard to wrap since there was nothing to it. I can't say for sure that it has prevented her RFID info being compromised, but I can say it is still intact.

6 months after she put it in her purse it is still in good shape. The edges are a bit frayed from rubbing on her wallet, but the important section is still in great shape.

This fits perfectly in a ladies wallet but again exteremly overpriced for what you get and...maybe Costco will sell these soon, but until them it's supply and demand at a premium ($).

The insert is way too short to cover my wallet. It is probably better than nothing, but not much more..

This is my second purchase of these. I prefer super-thin wallets so that I don't have back problems in the future. This lets me get RFID protection in a thin wallet. I bought two more that I made my wife place on both sides of her wallet.
