5.0 out of 5 stars Another Richard Marcinko Thriller!
In one of the most action-packed and suspenseful books I have ever read, Marcinko proves he's still the best SEAL ever by taking down a billionaire with evil in his agenda. The book draws you in with an incredibly exciting beginning were his team is responsible for saving hostages and taking down the terrorists. In the roguish style Marcinko's fans have come to love, he...

3.0 out of 5 stars Adventure fiction with lots of swearing
I didn't finish this book. I live in Scotland and I picked this book up from the table of new paperbacks in one of our chain bookstores. Oh, good, I thought, a real adventure with plenty of action. This book stood out from the others on that table and a read at page one had my attention. But...I really don't get off on all the bad language. For me it spoiled the book. That...

4.0 out of 5 stars Marcinko Strikes Again!, July 8, 2001

(REAL NAME)
This is another thriller in the Rogue Warrior series. Through his experiences as a U.S. Navy Seal Marcinko has been enabled to write some very entertaining books. His vast knowledge of types of weapons and special operations manuevers make his books quite believable. In this book Marcinke and his troops are matched up against an evil ruthless billionaire. Despite the man's over- whelming wealth Marcinko is still able to prevail. As usual there is nonstop action. The ending of this book is also very unique. Be sure to read this book. You will be greatly entertained.Dick Marcinko has written another good book.

A Literary Guild Selection and a Doubleday Book Club Selection. Author Richard Marcinko is retired from the Navy after more than 30 years of service. Author John Weisman specializes in espionage and military themes. A must read if you seek action, a fast moving plot and military operations.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dickie does major damage to evil do'ers, February 21, 1997
By A Customer
Dick Marcinko and his band of merry men continue the legacy of beer drinking, nasty talkin', hard hitting action in the pursuit of the evil doer's of the good ole' U.S. of A. Just so I don't give away the plot and have Dickie visit me at my own abode some night with a C4 suprise package, I'll just say this adventure tracks right along with his usual style of commentary and Navy SEAL tactics until the bad guys end up properly chastised (and dead). If I didn't have it on good authority that Marcinko really is as nasty as he presents himself to be, I might wonder if these guys really are presented in a realistic manner. Since I DO know an ex-SEAL that IS acquainted with Dick, I guess I have to believe these guys really are nasty bad a-- m----r f-----s that I hope never to meet except maybe at a book signing fair. (Please Dick, if this review offends in ANY way, I profusely apologize and promise only to read the book and never write again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow..., June 27, 2002

Let me say first off I am a 21 YO computer sci major, and this was one of the best books I have ever read. Richard Marcinko is such an admirable leader and he shares all his tactics with the reader. If only he ran for president. I immediately was sucked into the book, they way the book was written I really felt like I was along for the ride, and oh what a ride it was. Marcinko's books are so enthralling that it even makes me think about joining the milliatry, just so I could follow in his footsteps, and if I wasn't almost done with school, I just might've done it. Forget what you see in movies, or what you think you know about the millitary/SEALs, Marcinko is the real thing, and he'll set you straight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is is bigger and better in TFB, January 11, 2000
Dick delivers in this non-stop action thriller. The readers becomes nervous and excited and the same time. It gets the adrenalin pumping. An awesome book by an awesome author. TFB is a chart toper and should be read by all SEAL's and action/adventure readers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Richard Marcinko is a war God that kills them all., February 12, 1999
Task Force Blue is more exciting than the best Super Bowl game ever. One doesn't have to rent Faces of Death to see hundreds of people dead, just read this book and thats the bottom line. Richard Marcinko makes all the Hollywood movie action stars look like a Bill Clinton when he was draft dodging, cowards.

4.0 out of 5 stars Task Force Blue is entertaining, March 13, 2002
In the way that karate movies are entertaining. Lots of cool action parts and a storyline that doesn't quite make it to good.

The writing style is very similar to all of his sequels to the original Rogue Warrior book. Not quite redundant in my opinion, but almost.

A decent enough story, really good slam-bang double-tap action, I'd only recommend this book only to fans of action-adventure books and fans of Richard Marcinko.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best so far, January 16, 1999
By A Customer
Thoroughly entertaining. Faster paced than the earlier books in the series. More enjoyable for conventional thriller fans. But continues Marcinko's own brand of thrills and specwar tuition
