Product Description

U.S. Geological Survey expert, Nick McCord can not account for the destructive waves assaulting the Windward coast of Oahu. The only viable culprit is the new housing development, Manale Palms and its attractive contractor, Briana Holt.

Try as he might to find blame with Briana and her site, the truth remains a mystery as yet another threatening wave attacks the coast. Now allies, Nick and Briana narrow in on the source of these anomalies and find themselves in a struggle to save the island coast and their very lives

About the Author

Maureen A. Miller is the author of three romantic suspense novels, WIDOW'S TALE, VICTORY COVE and ROGUE WAVE. WIDOW'S TALE was nominated by the Romance Writers of America for a Golden Heart Award in the Romantic Suspense category. Working in the software industry for fifteen years, in a job that required extensive travel, instead of reading during all those lengthy airport layovers, Maureen chose to write. Escapism at its best. Six novels were produced in those years of travel. Currently, Maureen is hard at work on EYE OF THE SUN, a romantic thriller set in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Waves of Suspense, Tides of Romance, August 24, 2009

Miss Maureen Miller's novel is very well written, flows smoothly over the page and takes place in the exotic Hawaiian Islands. The sun, sand and suspense blend perfectly to create a story that keeps up the reader's interest and has them wanting to hear more from this talented author. Both Nick and Briana have ghosts from the past to overcome, but they do it in style as the story of unexpectedly anomalous waves threatening the pristine Hawaiian leeward beaches unfolds, bringing them together as they both attempt to solve the mystery. I give a solid 5 stars for an entertaining read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wave of joy to read!, April 12, 2010
This review is from: Rogue Wave (Paperback)
A huge fan of Ms. Miller's other works, I'm excited to say that Rogue Wave hooked me just as quickly and just as deeply.
Nick and Briana are characters that attract the reader and make you want to turn each page with drawn breath. It's thrilling, touching, romantic and everything that will make you go back and read it again.
She makes you see the scenery described and at times you will smell the water, feel the breeze.
This is another wonderful book by this author.

Thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book just as I did with her previous 2 books. The characters were intriguing from the beginning with troubled pasts and a possible electrifying future.
I certainly recommend this book for a good, easy read. You won't be disappointed.

More About the Author

I am known for writing cold, dark romantic suspense novels. But even I need to warm up after awhile. ENDLESS NIGHT will take you to the cliffs of Maine's rugged coast in the middle of a blustery nor'easter, but JUNGLE OF DECEIT will have you sweating in the jungles of Guatemala. Whatever your geographical or weather preference may be, chances are that I'm going to weave you a tale of romance and danger in one of them.

My first endeavor into romantic suspense was a novel called, WIDOW'S TALE which became a Golden Heart nominee with the Romance Writers of America. Since then I have added ROGUE WAVE, BORROWED TIME and EMOTIONAL WAVES.
