Nice romance set in Dodge City with a very property young lady, Elizabeth, arriving from the East to meet her elderly guardian. Unfortunatey, his is dead, but his son of the same name is now her guardian do to the name confusion. To her shock, his is a saloon owner, gambler and rake. She gives him his share of grief when she sets out to reform the towns prostitutes.
I found the story delightful. |
