good resource for gross anatomy
Although I haven't found a lot of time to use the flash cards, they are useful for studying gross anatomy when I can't get into the lab. The Rohen's cadaver textbook is even better because it has an index and is much more thorough.

needs more labels
These cards are great in that they test you from exact images from the Rohen book. However, each card has only 2 or 3 items labeled. I was hoping for a lot more than that, since I am highly dependent on portable methods of self-quizzing!!!

These cards are great in that they test you from exact images from the Rohen book. However, each card has only 2 or 3 items labeled. I was hoping for a lot more than that, since I am highly dependent on portable methods of self-quizzing!!!

The dissections are done very well and the photographs are excellent in illustrating the complexities of details and relationships. While there is a ton of information in the actual photographs, very little is labelled. So unless you are already familiar with what is shown, it is hard to learn much from the cards themselves. I would still reccomend them because I have not seen other cards with actual cadaver photos. And the photos are very well done. They are great for clarifying information learned from other sources. But they would be a phenomenal resource with more labelling and explanatory text.
