We started our son last year with the Deluxe Action Factory and assorted extra building pieces! He enjoyed it so much that this year he recieved the RC Elevator, Monorail Cars and Track and other cars and building supplies! The whole family has enjoyed constructing towers for the elevator and running the monorail track through it all! We are sure that this will be a toy that both our children will play with for a long time to come! Rokenbok also is very customer oriented! If there is a problem with any aspect of the toy, they will repair or replace with no questions asked!

This is a very nice extension track for the Rokenbok monorail, and mostly required if you want to have more than an oval. It is actually bigger than it looks and on Christmas day it took me quite a while to set it up so it would fit on the table with the other Rokenbok stuff, have an interesting shape *and* integrate with the starter set. That said, it is easy to build one of the examples and you can invent your own as well as there are plenty of pieces. More slopes would be good though as there are only 4. Ideally, I would like to get a second set for more freedom and being able to build the track upwards and save a bit of space while making it more fun for the kids.

This rokenbok monorail track is a great product. It is easily built, comes with GREAT pieces, and is the thing you need if you do not have a large monorail track. But if you want a product with monorail accesories, search Amazon for Rokenbok Monorail Storage Depot. I will end this review by saying that I love this product.

Grandson,who is 10 loves this and plays with other children age 6 up to adult. Very entertaining with additional items sold seperately.

My son received this rail expansion set along with the Rokenbok Monorail for his 5th birthday. I gave the Monorail 5 stars in another review, so I'm really just reviewing the expansion set track here. There are a lot of great pieces in this set including 4 hills and some neat accessories (railroad signals, catwalks, railing, etc.). We all love this set because it provides a lot of great options for different track layouts so builders can really express their creativity. We connected this set to the oval that comes with the Monorail, and it works perfectly! The 3 suggested layouts that come with this track are pretty fun, but there really are endless variations that you could build with this set. If you use all of the pieces, the resulting track is fairly large - you probably need about a 5'x 6' play area if you are connecting the construction set and/or the forklift to use with the Monorail.

I took one star off, because we had to make one small tweak to make this rail expansion set work properly. The Monorail kept slipping and was unable to climb the hills. So, we took the advice of a couple of other Rokenbok fans and placed friction tape/no-slip tape on the hills (you can find this at most home improvement stores). The monorail climbs perfectly now! But, without the addition of the friction tape, the Monorail would not climb the hills on its own; we had to push it up the hills. Rokenbok could make this a 5 star track set in my opinon by providing pre-measured/cut friction tape in the set, or better yet by figuring out some way to rough up the hills on each side a bit to help the Monorail grip and climb.

I didn't take a star off for this, but just a precaution - if you pull the Rokenbok rail pieces apart without the included key, you risk breaking off the tabs that hold them together. Our five year old son did this and broke a piece. So, use the key to pull blocks apart just to be safe.

All in all, a solid investment for playtime - enjoyed by kids and adults!!

This is a great add on to pump set a action factory (monrail sold seprtley)But i got the big kit because there is not much to do beside drive around on this one. But if you want something cheap you can change it around.
