I believe SD is only used to expand # of channels and/or games. I attached a USB drive and played a movie from there.

Yeah you only need am HDMI cord then you connect to your home WiFi with an eithernet cord out the rokus wifi

Probably not; or at least, not without interruptions to your viewing, as the device would have to buffer the stream more often. You can see the specs on the webpage -- 1.2Mbps is the minimum. Be sure to check your speed - you can use some internet sites to do so.

Sorry, not sure I understand your question. You don't normally stream from a computer to a TV using ROKU like you do with ChromeCast. If you don't have a TV, what are you streaming to?
