5.0 out of 5 stars Great Taste and Bargain!
When I received the 11-Pound Tub of Roland Wild Lingonberries, I was amazed at how well it was packaged. The tub was very well sealed in what seemed like air tight packaging, as well as being packaged in two different boxes. Once I tasted the Roland Lingonberries, I felt that they were some of the best tasting lingonberries I have had. I would highly recommend them to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great product when properly packed
This is an excellent product, but the plastic container it's packed in is not as sturdy as it needs to be. Over the last several months I have ordered more than a dozen buckets... One shipment wasn't packed well enough, and the lid was about to come loose when I opened it. My most recent shipment was for two buckets, and one of them did get spilled during transit. UPS...

5.0 out of 5 stars Swedish Lingonberries in sauce, February 1, 2011

These lingonberries are excellent in taste and quality. I've been looking for these in bulk and there couldn't possibly be a better substitute than Roland's wild lingonberries. There's a good balance between tartness and sweetness, and the sauce is great to use on bread, crackers or for baking. The ingredients are few and simple, the way these fruit spreads should be-no HFCS, artificial flavors or colors, among other unneeded junk. The sweetness is just right for my taste, not too sweet like many of the popular brands of fruit spreads. The packaging was adequate enough to keep the 11-lb tub from breaking or opening to cause a big mess, yet not overly excessive like many other items I've purchased that I would consider much less fragile.

5.0 out of 5 stars tasty sylts, June 1, 2009
This review is from: Roland Wild Lingonberries from Sweden, 11-Pound Plastic Tub (Grocery)
Very tasty. I keep the bucket in the back of the fridge and fill up a few mason jars for immediate consumption. Good on toast, ice cream, pancakes and straight out of the jar.

UPS returned it for me, but I had to send the good one back with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best!, December 30, 2009

We eat lingonberries often. The little jars in the grocery stores are expensive and don't last long enough. We shared one of these big tubs with some Russian friends that became hooked on them after we introduced them to lingonberries on Swedish meatballs. Half a tub was nice, but we can easily eat a whole tub ourselves and these are the best we have ever tasted. Yummm!

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicios jam, impecable delivery, February 4, 2011

I was worrying about in what condition such a delicate product would arrive. I shouldn't have though. The jar was packaged in two boxes - internal smaller one which had jar in it and external - bigger with plastic bubbles securing smaller box. Upon opening all boxes jar was in impecable condition. Product is also great. Very delicate taste preservative, not too sweet with loads of berries. You can use it for everything - pancakes, ice-cream, pies, cakes and simply sampling it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Damaged shipment, November 26, 2011

This review is from: Roland Wild Lingonberries from Sweden, 11-Pound Plastic Tub (Grocery)
I read the reviews before ordering this product and one of them mentioned never receiving order because shipment was damaged by shipper. I ordered this product anyway for my son and was excited when I was notified order would be delivered sooner than expected. A few days before the order was to be delivered I received an email notifying me that the order was damaged in shipment. I'm not sure if the original shipper damaged the item because it wasn't packaged well or if it was damaged when it got to the shipper in the U.S. Fortunately this was ordered through Amazon.com and I received a prompt and hassle free refund. I thought about trying to reorder this product but I will try to find a local vendor to minimize multiple shipping carriers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious Berries, October 21, 2010

Love these berries and this is the best deal anywhere on them. We eat them on cake, oatmeal cereal, swedish pancakes, toast, ice cream. They are berries preserved in a sugar syrup. They are very tart and tasty. The only drawback is the product can get damaged in shipping due to the weight and the packaging not being all it should be. I never actually received the goods damaged, they just got held by the freight companies as undeliverable. Amazon was great about re-sending the product after being contacted about lack of delivery. Despite this, I will continue to order.

This 11 lb tub is a great size to divide up into smaller freezable containers. I am already reordering to share with my family. It is tart but not too tart, likewise sweet but not too sweet. It is a unique berry, you'll love it.
