The taste was good, but the pate was much coarser then I expected with large chunks of opaque fat in it. I bought this for a dinner party and no one touched it because it looked exactly like a can of cat food plopped out on a plate. Disappointing. None the less, the flavor was good...but I would recomend a more hidden presentation as the appearance is not appetizing.

Good pate but more of a pork taste. I could not taste the liver. Still liked.,

This does taste good. I like to spread it Ritz Crackers,Low Salt, 16-Ounce Unit (Pack of 12)on since this is a little salty taste. I can taste the pork and the hint of red wine, but not the foie Gras (duck liver). I'm liver lover so I would have prefered more liver taste. This is very rich with oil on top you need to stir in.
Coarse pate with pork, duck meat, 20% duck foie gras, duck liver, Port wine Pāté is a spreadable paste made from finely ground meats, primarily liver, along with with herbs, spices, vegetables and wine. Refrigerate before opening. Serve chilled but not ice cold. Use a knife to serve spreadable portions. Serve on baguette or toast. Great for picnics. Ideal for 2 to 4 persons

The seal on the lids to both jars was broken and had been broken for some time. The product was dried out and of course unusable. A real waste.
