5.0 out of 5 stars Caution: these olives may be addictive!
Last November, at a small tapas bar in Barcelona, we chose these olives as one of our evening's selections. I'm usually indifferent to green olives, but these have a decidedly 'more-ish' taste!

And it's not just me who finds them irresistable: every person who's tasted these in my home has insisted on knowing where they might find more... Never are there any...

2.0 out of 5 stars OK, but not great
I like anchovy stuffed olives, but have trouble finding them in the grocery store. These were okay. Just okay. I realize that the olives are stuffed not with whole anchovies, but rather with an anchovy paste and the paste that was used with these olives was more filler than anchovy and therefore was lacking in anchovy flavor. I will not purchase these again.

And it's not just me who finds them irresistable: every person who's tasted these in my home has insisted on knowing where they might find more... Never are there any leftovers, darn.

I hesitate to submit this review, in case the demand for this product exceeds the supply. Were that to happen, I'd have to check myself in to a rehab center for sure, to combat my withdrawal symptoms.

Wonder if they're available by the barrel?

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FLAVOR, GREAT BUY!, April 26, 2009

The only place I've found these olives is at Smart and Final and they're much more costly. Beside that, it's about the only brand that carries anchovy stuffed olives, which are great!

These are the best olives to serve as an appetizer. They are salty and tasty and stimulate thirst and appetite.

If you love anchovy stuffed olives, you are like me. You will eat a lot of them! They are good for you too! (OK, don't tell me if they are not, I don't want to know). I'm sometimes afraid of buying products in really big cans because I wonder if we're going to eat it all before they go south. No worries with these olives! They are delicious and my family could not get enough of them and they were gone in a few days. I will be re-ordering.

These are not really anchovie stuffed olives, there is a little anchovie paste in some of them but not nearly as much as the real anchovie stuffed olives have. They are very hard to find anymore.
