You will be amazed at the power of prayer! How prayer has far-reaching effects on social, economic, and political domains. The narration was clear and concise some of the facts will surprise and amuse you, the language was clear and understandable.

I would recommend this for church body, pastor, teacher, evangelist, historian, and any believer or person that seeks the power of God.

I had seen this video on VHS maybe fifteen or twenty years ago and have often wanted to see it again, but did not know where to find a copy. I was overjoyed to find it on Amazon.

The picture quality leaves much to be desired. The original recording was on cheap equipment and the reproduction was not much better, but the content by J. Edwin Orr more than makes up for it.

During the twentieth century, Dr. Orr was the most prominent scholar in America on revivals and spiritual awakening. In the 1930s he was a revivalist himself, seeing his evangelistic services turn into revivals on numerous occasions. Later he became a professor of revival and church growth at Fuller Theological Seminary.

The message of this video is simple. If you want revival, pray. And get our fellow believers to pray. No revival or spiritual awakening has ever happened without Christians uniting in a concert of prayer.

A must see for anyone who wants our nation to wake up to the reality of the Gospel.
